All the strange Gods
So we’ll ne playing this game through some rules I’ve named “The World System”. They’re a kind of synthesis between a bunch of roleplaying games including Dungeons & Dragons (2-3.5 Ed), World of Darkness, Burning Wheel, the old Call of Cthulhu games, and who knws what else. The idea was to make a set of rules that would facilitate storytelling while simulating a world as simply as possible so that it wouldn’t get in the way of its enjoyment.
One addition of my own making is that this game mainly uses a deck of cards for deciding most checks. That’s why you’ll catch me saying draw when you might be used to hearing roll. In this system the Jokers represent almost always a failure, and the Aces almost always represent a success.
Why does all this matter? It doesn’t. At all. So without further ado, let’s move onto Character-Creation.
